What We Do
Maritime Security Operations Delivered by Accredited ISPS Officers
FSS holds in house staff members accredited as ‘ISPS Port Facility Security Officers’ having completed the Global Maritime training course this enables us to;
- Conduct Port Security Assessments (PFSA): Perform official risk assessments to identify vulnerable points in the port.
- Designated Official: Be named as the official “Port Facility Security Officer” in government records. Every international port facility must have one by law.
- Sign and Approve Plans: Authorised to develop, submit, and maintain the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP)
- Liaise with Ships: Be the legal counterpart to the Ship Security Officer (SSO). When a ship docks, authorised to sign the Declaration of Security (DoS)
