Site Clinic + Medical Equipment Procurement – Sierra Leonne

Since September 2025 FSS has been supporting FG Gold ‘Baomahun Gold Project’ – the First Large Scale Commercial in Sierra Leonne, one of Africa’s largest gold development projects.
The first request was to provide medical equipment and consumables to equip the small remote area Field Medical Clinic, which would be a temporary provision until the permanent and more substantial site clinic was built. FSS procured the necessary equipment to provide emergency pre hospital treatment from its UK suppliers and dispatched the consignment by air freight to the project site.
As the project developed FSS was approached for a range of other services including the sourcing and procurement of 4×4 Off Road Ambulances for the site.
Later FSS was involved in the design and planning of the Site Medical Clinic and through partnering with a Turkish manufacturer, presented the solution of a fully modular site medical facility including all manufacturing, logistics and erection at site.
The Facility Consisted of:

- Consultation room – 12 m²
- Trauma bay (2 beds) – 32 m²
- Treatment bay (6 beds) – 71 m²
- Paramedic office – 12 m²
- ERT office – 14 m² + WC – 4 m²
- On-duty staff room – 12 m²
- VIP sick room – 15 m² + VIP bathroom – 4 m²
- Staff rest room with kitchenette – 36 m²
- Laboratory – 12 m²
- Drugstore – 12 m²
- Medical storage – 12 m²
- Store/Linen room – 12 m²
- Ambulance bay (covered) – 20 m²
