In February 2026 FSS deployed personnel to Northern Nigeria in support of a classified US State Department Contract. Initially conducting reconnaissance to identify suitable accommodation and move resources to the project area.

The requirement is to provide secure accommodation and complete life support for client staffers, as well as Visa services and travel coordination.

Security provisions include B6 Armoured SUV vehicles for ground movements, Executive Protection officers, Local Fixers and coordinators. In country services are directed by FSS expatriate International Project Managers who are based at the project site.

FSS holds contracts with the Nigerian Military of Police to facilitate the provision of Armed Police Escort services.

The project is anticipated to continue for the duration of 2026, with options to extend.
